Last semester I took an art class, and man… my perspective changed on everything. Shout out to my wonderful prof who allowed me to see art through a new set of eyes. From the little details, to the meaning behind every piece, it became like a mystery to be solved, only for it to be a different outcome for each person. It was cool being able to share different opinions and to see what others were observing from the same work of art.
Along with the permanent collections, I had the chance to see the J.M.W Turner: Painting Set Free exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), which was housed at the museum for three months. My favourite paintings from him include “Sunrise, with a Boat between Headlands” and “Snow Storm.”
Wearing one of my all time favourite looks (I’m sure some people think I probably have only one shirt and one pair of pants in my closet from the amount of times I’ve worn them) I paired my favourite joggers with a simple long sleeve top. I love these little grey booties, the heel is the perfect height comfort wise and they bring together so many outfits. Finishing off the look, I matched my grey floppy hat with my Guess cross body bag.
